This donkey-derived polyclonal secondary reagent from Antibodies.com is conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and binds goat IgG through both heavy and light chain (H+L) recognition. Supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot, the antibody supports fluorescence-based indirect labeling in immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FC) workflows, where it detects goat primary antibodies bound to their targets on fixed cells, tissue sections, or in suspension.

FITC exhibits an excitation maximum near 495 nm and emission near 519 nm, matching standard FITC filter sets on fluorescence microscopes and flow cytometers. As an IgG isotype reagent, the conjugate recognizes goat IgG broadly across subclasses, providing consistent secondary detection in multicolor panels where FITC occupies the green channel. The liquid format is stored refrigerated and protected from light to preserve fluorescence intensity across repeated experiments.

Typical protocols dilute the conjugate in blocking buffer, incubate with samples after primary antibody binding, and wash thoroughly before imaging or cytometric acquisition. The reagent is intended for research use only and has not been validated for clinical or diagnostic purposes.
