Description
Antibodies.com offers this HRP-conjugated secondary antibody raised in rabbits, designed to detect camelid IgG, including VHH targets. The polyclonal reagent is supplied in liquid form as an affinity-purified preparation, formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal.
Validated by the manufacturer for Western blot applications, it is recommended at dilutions of 1:500-1:1,000. The immunogen was camel IgG, and the target VHH protein has a molecular weight of 30 kDa. A representative Western blot performed at a 1:1,000 dilution used 25 µg of lysate per lane, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, and an ECL Basic Kit for detection with a 3-second exposure.
Storage guidance: shipped at 4°C, then aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon receipt, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
