Supplied by STEMCELL Technologies as a 50 mg vial of solid powder, AG-490 is a selective Janus kinase 2 (JAK2) inhibitor used extensively in cell signaling, immunology, and oncology research. This tyrphostin-class compound blocks JAK2-mediated phosphorylation of STAT1 and STAT3 transcription factors, disrupting downstream cytokine cascades such as IL-6 and IFN-γ signaling.
