Spleen Dissociation 4mL/tube

Pre-aliquoted in a single-use 4 mL tube, this STEMCELL Technologies spleen dissociation reagent delivers a ready-to-use enzyme cocktail for mechanical-and-enzymatic digestion of murine or human spleen tissue. Researchers add the tube contents directly to freshly harvested splenic fragments, then process the tissue using a gentleMACS Dissociator or comparable instrument to obtain viable single-cell suspensions within roughly 20 to 30 minutes.

The single-dose tube format eliminates the need to thaw and refreeze bulk stocks and delivers consistent lot-to-lot performance. The reagent preserves fragile cell-surface markers including CD4, CD8, CD19, and CD45, leaving the resulting suspension well suited to downstream flow cytometry panels, immunophenotyping assays, fluorescence-activated cell sorting, and primary cell culture workflows. Each tube is intended for research use only, stored at -20 degrees C upon receipt, thawed at 4 degrees C immediately before use, and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to maintain enzyme activity.
