Conical Tubes, 15 mL, 50 Tubes

These sterile polypropylene conical tubes are recommended for cell centrifugation and other cell culture applications. Manufactured under the Falcon® brand and offered by STEMCELL Technologies, the tubes feature a translucent polypropylene body with a high-density polyethylene cap and a threaded dome seal closure designed to retain liquid during routine laboratory procedures. Both tube and cap are biologically inert, RNase/DNase-free, and non-pyrogenic.

With outer dimensions of 17 x 118 mm and a nominal volume of 15 mL, the tubes bear graduations every 0.5 mL. They are rated for centrifugal force up to 12,000 x g and are sterilized by gamma irradiation.

Typical applications include cell centrifugation by density gradients or pelleting, dilution of samples or solutions, sample storage, and molecular biology workflows such as DNA purification. The tubes should be stored at 15 - 25°C and remain stable until the expiry date indicated on the STEMCELL label.
