Centrifuge Tubes, 15 mL , 500 Tubes

These sterile centrifuge tubes from STEMCELL Technologies are designed for a wide variety of sample preparation, storage, and centrifugation tasks. Manufactured from translucent polypropylene with high-density polyethylene caps, they are RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, with all material resins qualified under USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity.

With a nominal volume of 15 mL, the tubes feature graduations every 0.5 mL and dimensions of 17 x 120 mm (outer diameter x height). They are sterilized by gamma irradiation and can withstand centrifugal forces up to 12,000 x g. Typical applications include cell centrifugation (separation by density gradients or pelleting), dilution of samples or solutions, sample storage, and DNA purification.
