Round-bottom PS Tubes, 5mL, 1000 Tubes

Falcon® round-bottom tubes from STEMCELL Technologies are sterile, high-quality vessels designed for a wide variety of sample preparation, sample storage, and sample centrifugation tasks. With a nominal volume of 5 mL and dimensions of 12 x 75 mm (outer diameter x height), these tubes feature a clear, transparent polystyrene body with no graduations. They are required for EasySep™ cell isolation when used with EasySep™ magnets, and they are also suitable for flow cytometry, fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), cell separation, cell culture, and liquid handling applications.

The tubes are paired with a dual-position low-density polyethylene snap cap that can be sealed tightly or left in a loose position for sterile aerobic culture. Both the tube and cap are biologically inert, RNase-/DNase-free, and non-pyrogenic. The tubes withstand centrifugal forces up to 1400 x g and are sterilized by gamma irradiation. They should be stored at 15 - 25 °C and remain stable until the expiry date indicated on the manufacturer label. STEMCELL Technologies' quality management system is certified to ISO 13485.
