Designed around a unique rotary thermal architecture, this QIAGEN real-time PCR platform delivers uniform temperature distribution across 72 tube positions while supporting five-channel multiplex detection and high-resolution melt (HRM) analysis. Each 0.2 ml sample tube spins within a centrifugal chamber, eliminating edge effects and producing tightly controlled temperature uniformity. Five optical channels—Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Crimson—enable simultaneous detection of multiple targets per run, while dedicated HRM software resolves subtle melt curve differences down to single-nucleotide changes. The instrument ships without an attached personal computer, allowing laboratories to pair it with their preferred workstation. Thermal cycling spans ambient to 99 °C with rapid ramp rates suitable for fast protocols. The system supports a broad portfolio of QIAGEN QuantiTect kits, pathogen detection assays, and gene expression workflows.
