EZ1 Advanced

An instrument from QIAGEN used for viral nucleic acid extraction in diagnostic workflows. The EZ1 Advanced can process up to 6 samples in one run and operates together with the EZ1 DSP Virus Kit and the EZ1 Advanced DSP Virus Card. It forms part of the EZ1 DSP Virus System and is configured for use with the Rotor-Gene Q MDx instrument for downstream amplification and detection. The instrument is supplied with EZ1 Advanced Communicator Software for sample tracking. It is categorised as instrumentation within QIAGEN's infectious disease product range and is referenced in the instructions for use of the artus CMV RGQ MDx Kit as the platform used for the DNA extraction step prior to CMV DNA amplification and quantitation.
