Rotor-Gene Q 5plex HRM no PC

A rotary real-time PCR cycler and High Resolution Melt analyzer from QIAGEN achieves sample-to-sample temperature uniformity of ±0.01°C with temperature control accuracy of ±0.02°C, supporting high-resolution melting analysis. The Rotor-Gene Q platform uses separate LEDs in a fixed single-path optical arrangement, which avoids fluorescence distortion or loss, and is paired with a high-sensitivity PMT detector capable of amplifying a single photon.

The 5plex HRM configuration provides five fluorescence channels (green, yellow, orange, red, crimson) plus an HRM channel. The temperature control range spans from room temperature to 99°C, with ramping speeds of 15°C/sec for heating and 20°C/sec for cooling. Compatible rotor formats include 36-well rotors for 0.2 ml tubes, 72-well rotors for 0.1 ml tube strips, 72-well rotors for 0.1 ml Rotor-Disc tubes, and 100-well rotors for 30 µl Rotor-Disc tubes. A typical run completes 40 cycles in 45–60 minutes.
