RNase-Free DNase Set (250)

QIAGEN's RNase-Free DNase Set is designed for efficient DNA removal during RNA purification. The set includes lyophilized DNase I, Buffer RDD, and RNase-Free Water. According to the manufacturer, Buffer RDD is optimized for on-column DNase digestion and is also well-suited for DNase digestion in solution.

The kit is intended for use with QIAGEN RNeasy Kits, MagAttract RNA Kits, or the QIAamp RNA Blood Mini Kit. The manufacturer recommends reconstituting the lyophilized DNase I in 550 µl of RNase-free water, injecting the water through the septum with a needle and syringe rather than opening the vial. The set is shipped at room temperature and should be stored at 2–8°C. When stored correctly, the buffer and lyophilized enzyme can be kept for at least 9 months without reduction in performance. For long-term storage, reconstituted DNase I stock solution should be divided into single-use aliquots and stored at –15 to –25°C.
