Engineered for the purge circuit on QIAGEN's QPAC instrument platform, this Reducing valve steps inlet line pressure down to a controlled working level during purge cycles. Consistent flow delivery protects downstream tubing, reagent cartridges, and detector modules from pressure spikes that could shorten their service life.
The valve drops into the existing pneumatic manifold on QIAGEN automated workstations, using the same seat geometry and fittings as the original factory-fitted unit. Replacing the part at scheduled service intervals restores stable backpressure and supports reproducible assay performance across repeated runs.
Each unit is supplied as a single replacement component for installation by trained service staff. The valve is built to original equipment specifications and is intended for research use only in molecular biology workflows, helping laboratories keep their QIAGEN instruments operating to factory performance standards after service events.
