A high-performance real-time PCR (qPCR) system from QIAGEN, the QIAquant is designed for fast and easy molecular biology applications. The instrument is supported by a comprehensive range of QIAGEN service products, with options to fit different lab needs and budgets. Service is carried out at the QIAGEN Regional Repair Center (RRC), and on-site repair is available through a Premium Agreement option.

QIAGEN offers several service agreement tiers — Preventive Subscription, Core Service Agreement, Full Service Agreement, and Premium Service Agreement — covering elements such as repair services, repair parts coverage, Preventive Maintenance/Inspection Service, software updates, and technical phone support. The recommended annual Preventive Maintenance/Inspection Service includes cleaning and maintenance, software check, rotary-table movement, touchscreen test, heated-lid temperature test, fan test, detector calibration, test plate measurement, fiber-sequencer test for optical plate, block-cycler test, and optical unit performance test.

Related service offerings include on-site Installation and Training — covering hardware and system software installation plus application training and hands-on experience with the instrument for up to four laboratory staff members — as well as IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification) to confirm that the instrument and its modules are performing according to manufacturer's specifications. The QIAquant is intended for molecular biology applications and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.
