QIAgility HEPA/UV Platform System PRV-1

QIAGEN offers a robotic workstation designed for automated PCR setup, integrating a UV light source and a HEPA-filtered enclosure. The system is supplied with a notebook computer and QIAgility software, together with installation, application training, and a preventive maintenance visit. A preinstalled dual-cartridge HEPA filter maintains positive-pressure clean air inside the closed hood, while a preinstalled UV lamp supports worktable decontamination.

The pipetting head is single channel with a tip volume range of 1–200 µl. Liquid-level sensing operates with a minimum detection volume of 10 µl in 200 µl PCR tubes and functions only with QIAGEN Conductive Filtered Tips. Precision is specified as CV <1% for 5–200 µl dry-well transfer, CV <5% for 2–5 µl wet-well transfer, and CV <10% at 1 µl. Communications are provided through USB and RS232.

Physical dimensions are 45 cm (18 in.) in height with the lid closed, 86 cm (34 in.) with the lid open, 54 cm (21 in.) wide, and 63 cm (25 in.) deep without cables. Weight is 41 kg (90.2 lb). Electrical requirements are 100–240 V AC, 250 VA, 50–60 Hz. The unit is rated for indoor use at an operating temperature of 15–30 °C (59–86 °F), operating humidity of 40–70%, and pollution level 2. The worktable accommodates 6 SBS positions (127.76 x 85.48 mm), and used tips are ejected externally so that no waste accumulates on the worktable. The software is supplied with an unlimited user license and free web-download upgrades. Warranty is 1–3 years, depending on service package.
