QIAcube HT/QIAxtractor, system

The QIAcube HT system from QIAGEN enables automated mid- to high-throughput nucleic acid purification in a 96-well format using silica membrane technology. The fully automated instrument handles 24–96 samples per run and is built around magnetic bead-based automated nucleic acid purification for high-throughput workflows in molecular biology applications.

Used with a variety of QIAcube HT Purification Kits, the system lets users purify DNA, RNA, and miRNA from cells, tissues, and stool samples, as well as from bacteria and viruses in animal samples, delivering the same high-quality results as other trusted QIAGEN purification technologies. Automated protocols combined with dedicated accessories and consumables increase reliability and convenience.

The instrument is mains-powered at 100–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz with a maximum power consumption of 400 VA and features a graphic LCD touchscreen with a 320 x 240 pixel display. It measures 87 x 61 x 75 cm (W x D x H), weighs 66 kg, and operates at a noise level below 65 dB. PC connectivity is provided via USB/Ethernet cable.
