QIAcube (230V)

A benchtop purification robot from QIAGEN, the QIAcube 230V version automates spin-column-based nucleic acid and protein cleanup so laboratories can process up to 12 samples per cycle without manual pipetting, centrifugation, or heating. Pre-installed protocols cover plasmid DNA mini-preps, genomic DNA, total RNA, viral nucleic acids, and protein preparation, and every run uses the same chemistry already validated in manual miniprep workflows from the same supplier.

Internally, the instrument integrates a centrifuge that reaches 13,000 rpm, a heated lid, a built-in vortexer, and a robotic pipetting arm, all coordinated through a color touchscreen that lets the user load a reagent cartridge, select a protocol, and walk away. The 230V power supply suits European and UK laboratories, and the closed benchtop design helps contain aerosols and reduce cross-contamination between runs.
