Installed inside QIAGEN's QIAcube automated workstation, this OEM filter changer motor powers the indexed rotation of the column adapter carousel during automated nucleic acid purification runs. The component drives the mechanical swap of vacuum manifolds between successive column positions, supporting DNA extraction, RNA extraction, and plasmid isolation protocols that QIAGEN spin-column kits streamline. Service technicians typically exchange this motor when the changer reports a position error, stalls during the spin-down phase, or fails the QIAcube self-diagnostic routine. The unit connects to the main PCB through a single keyed harness and mounts beneath the instrument hood following a brief power-down cycle. As an original equipment spare from QIAGEN, the motor preserves the indexing tolerance required for reproducible batch processing on the QIAcube platform. Shipped as a pack of 1 replacement component, the unit is intended for installation by trained laboratory personnel during scheduled preventative maintenance. For research use only.
