DiagCORE® Analyzer 1.0

A modular benchtop analyzer from QIAGEN delivers automated sample-to-result workflows for infectious-disease applications. The instrument uses real-time PCR to detect pathogen nucleic acids in human biological samples, with on-cartridge reagents that isolate and amplify target nucleic acids. Designed as a closed system, it enables hands-off sample preparation followed by detection and identification of pathogens, with detected real-time amplification signals interpreted by integrated software and reported through an intuitive user interface.

The architecture supports separate Operational and Analytical modules for compact, integrated automation. Network connectivity enables data export and remote support, while automated QC checks help streamline laboratory throughput. The system is intended for clinical research and high-volume diagnostic laboratories.

Samples are processed directly from swab input. Currently available on this platform is a qualitative Respiratory Panel V2 that analyzes 21 targets covering common pathogens causing acute respiratory tract infections, delivering comprehensive results in about one hour with less than 1 minute hands-on time. Output includes Ct values and amplification curves, which can provide potential insights into coinfection, disease severity, and sample quality.
