CT Cryogenic Vial, 4.5 mL, Ext, 500 EA

Designed by STEMCELL Technologies for reliable sample cryostorage, these 4.5 mL cryogenic vials feature external threads and a self-standing design. The sterile, round-bottom tubes are made from clear polypropylene and include graduated markings every 0.1 mL and a frosted side panel for easy labeling. The polypropylene cap incorporates an external thread and an integrated leak-proof seal.

These vials are RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, withstand temperatures as low as -196°C in gas or vapor phase, and are sterilized by gamma irradiation. With the cap attached, each vial measures 90.9 mm in length; the vial diameter is 11.4 mm and the cap diameter is 13.2 mm. Nominal volume is 5 mL. The manufacturer recommends storage at 15 - 25°C and notes the product remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label, with direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity to be avoided. Suitable applications include cryopreservation and cell storage.
