CT Cryogenic Vial, 1 mL, Int, 500 EA

Designed for reliable sample cryostorage, these internal-thread cryogenic vials from STEMCELL Technologies are sterile, self-standing containers with a conical bottom, made from clear polypropylene. The polypropylene cap includes a silicone O-ring for a dependable seal and features an internal thread design. Each vial is supplied with graduated markings (every 0.1 mL) and a frosted side panel for easy labeling. Listed applications include cryopreservation and cell storage.

The vials are sterilized by gamma irradiation and are certified RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic. They withstand temperatures as low as -196°C in the gas/vapor phase. Dimensions are 41.7 mm in length (vial with cap), with a vial diameter of 11.4 mm and a cap diameter of 12.7 mm. The nominal volume is 1.2 mL. Recommended storage is 15 - 25°C; the product remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label, and it should be protected from direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity.
