CT Cryogenic Vial, 1.8 mL, Int, 500 EA

These cryogenic storage vials from STEMCELL Technologies are 1.8 mL internal-thread polypropylene tubes designed for reliable sample cryostorage. Each vial is sterile, self-standing, and round-bottomed, with graduated markings spaced every 0.1 mL and a frosted side panel that facilitates easy labeling.

The clear polypropylene tube is paired with an internal-thread polypropylene cap containing a silicone O-ring to form a leak-resistant seal. The vials are RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, sterilized by gamma irradiation, and rated to withstand temperatures down to -196°C in the gas/vapor phase of liquid nitrogen. Their nominal volume is 2 mL. The recommended storage range is 15–25°C, kept away from direct sunlight and high atmospheric humidity, and the product remains stable until the expiry date printed on the manufacturer label.

Listed applications include cryopreservation and cell storage, supporting biobanking and cryopreservation workflows. Outer dimensions are 48.3 mm in length with the cap fitted, a vial diameter of 11.4 mm, and a cap diameter of 12.7 mm.
