STEMCELL Technologies offers Corning® Cryogenic Vials with Internal Thread designed for reliable sample cryostorage. The sterile, round-bottom, self-standing polypropylene vials feature graduated markings, large frosted side panels for easy labeling, and a special base for fitting into cryogenic racks or trays. The polypropylene cap includes a silicone washer for a dependable seal.

Suitable applications include cryopreservation and cell storage. Construction details: the tube is clear and transparent polypropylene with a round-bottom, self-standing design; the cap is polypropylene with an internal thread; the washer is silicone. The vials are RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, withstand temperatures as low as -196°C in gas/vapor phase, and are sterilized by irradiation.

Vial-with-cap length is 90.4 mm, with a vial diameter of 12.7 mm and a cap diameter of 11.9 mm. The nominal volume is 5 mL, with graduations marked at 2.5 mL and 4.5 mL. Recommended storage is at 15–25°C, and the product remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label.
