Corning Cryo Vial, 2mL, Orange, 500Vials

Distributed by STEMCELL Technologies, these Corning® cryogenic vials with orange caps are designed for reliable sample cryostorage. The sterile, self-standing, round-bottom, internally-threaded polypropylene vials support cryopreservation and cell storage applications. The tube is made from clear and transparent polypropylene, paired with an orange polypropylene cap (internally threaded) and a silicone washer. The vials are RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, and withstand temperatures as low as -196°C in gas/vapor phase.

With a nominal volume of 2 mL, each vial features graduations at 1.0 mL and 1.8 mL. Dimensions are 48.5 mm in length (vial with cap), 12.7 mm in diameter for the vial, and 11.9 mm in diameter for the cap. Sterility is achieved through gamma irradiation. The recommended storage condition is 15–25°C, and the product is stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label.
