Corning Cryo Vial, 2mL, Orange, 250Vials

Designed for reliable sample cryostorage, this self-standing, round-bottom, internally threaded cryogenic vial is made from clear and transparent polypropylene with an orange polypropylene cap and silicone washer. Offered through STEMCELL Technologies and bearing the Corning brand, a registered trademark of Corning Incorporated, the vial is intended for cryopreservation and cell storage applications.

The vial has a nominal volume of 2 mL, with graduations at 1 mL and 1.8 mL. Measuring 48.5 mm in length with the cap fitted, the vial body has a diameter of 12.7 mm and the cap a diameter of 11.9 mm. The vial withstands temperatures as low as -196°C in the gas/vapor phase and is certified RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic. Sterility is achieved by gamma irradiation, and storage is recommended at 15–25°C.
