UltraRun LongRange PCR Kit (500)

Designed for high-throughput workflows, this long-range PCR solution from QIAGEN combines a high-fidelity, hot-start polymerase with enhancers to improve amplification of long targets and difficult templates. The ready-to-use master mix contains a blend of hot-start controlled Taq polymerase, a proofreader and other additives, providing highly sensitive and specific amplification for up to 30 kb using any DNA or cDNA template, and offering exceptional speed over current long-range PCR kits with moderate multiplexing capability. Compatible with standard thermal cyclers, the UltraRun LongRange PCR Kit delivers dependable performance for demanding applications such as genomic and target enrichment workflows.

The kit features a 4x-concentrated master mix format for higher sample input volumes, room-temperature stability during and after reaction setup, and visual pipetting control. Two inert tracers — an orange Master Mix Tracer and a blue Template Tracer — combine to turn green when the template is added to the master mix, providing a visual indication of correct pipetting; both dyes also allow tracking of gel electrophoresis. An optional Q-Solution enables amplification of GC-rich and other challenging targets. Ideally suited for procedures involving long target amplification, including long amplicon sequencing in immunology, cancer and microbial workflows, the kit supports analysis of oncogenes, HLA, or pan-bacterial and fungal sequences such as 16S, 23S and ITS using the high yields from ultrafast and automatable long-range PCR.
