Description
This density gradient medium from STEMCELL Technologies is designed for the enrichment of specific human cell subsets. The formulation contains iodixanol, hetastarch, sodium chloride, sodium lactate, dextrose, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and water.
It is supplied as a component of the EasySep™ Human Myeloid Positive Selection Kit, where it is used to prepare mononuclear cell suspensions from whole blood or bone marrow by centrifugation.
The medium should be stored at 15 - 25°C and remains stable until the expiry date (EXP) on the label. Storage at 2 - 8°C is acceptable; before use, allow the medium to equilibrate to room temperature and invert the bottle to mix the contents.
