RT_ SYBR Green Fluor qPCR Mastermix (2)

QIAGEN's fluorescent dye-based qPCR master mix is formulated for SYBR Green-based real-time PCR on instruments that use fluorescein as a reference dye. The mix contains a real-time PCR buffer, a chemically-modified HotStart DNA Taq polymerase, nucleotides, and SYBR Green dye. The tightly controlled HotStart enzyme uniquely prevents amplification of primer–dimers and other nonspecific products, supporting high amplification efficiency across a wide dynamic range and delivering greater specificity through controlled polymerase activity.

This mastermix is highly suited for real-time PCR applications on Bio-Rad platforms including the iCycler, iQ5, MyiQ, and MyiQ2. Dissociation curves generated after the PCR run — by denaturing at 95°C, fully annealing at the primer Tm, then ramping back to 95°C — let users assess product homogeneity and verify reaction specificity. Store at -20°C and use according to the supplied instructions.
