Rt IgM,k Ctrl, RTK2118, PE, 25µg

This PE-conjugated antibody from STEMCELL Technologies is a rat monoclonal IgM, kappa isotype control (Clone RTK2118) intended to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. The clone recognizes keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) and has unknown binding specificity, having been screened on a variety of activated, resting, live, and fixed tissues from mouse, rat, human, and non-human primates.

The antibody has been verified for use as an isotype control in flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunofluorescence microscopy (IF), including both surface and intracellular staining. It was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE, and the solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.

The product is supplied as a clear phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide. It should be stored undiluted at 2 - 8 °C, protected from prolonged exposure to light and not frozen. The mixture is not classified as hazardous and the product is intended for research use only, not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses.
