Rt IgM,k Ctrl, RTK2118, AD, 25µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this rat IgM, kappa isotype control antibody, Clone RTK2118, which is suitable for use as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. Ideally, the isotype control should share the same subclass of heavy chain (IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, or IgM) and light chain (kappa or lambda) as the specific antibody being employed; when a conjugated antibody is used, an isotype control conjugated to the same molecule should be chosen.

This antibody clone has been verified for assessing non-specific binding to cells in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy applications, including both surface and intracellular staining. The product is available unconjugated as well as conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, APC, Biotin, FITC, or PE.

Documented applications include flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot, supporting research in the area of immunology.
