This biotin-conjugated rat monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies is designed as an isotype-matched control for flow cytometry applications. Clone RTK4530 expresses the IgG2b, kappa isotype and is intended to estimate the degree of non-specific binding produced by antigen-specific antibodies. The antibody was raised against trinitrophenol conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), recognises KLH, and has been screened on activated, resting, live, and fixed tissues from mouse, rat, human, and non-human primate samples.

Conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions and supplied free of unconjugated biotin following affinity chromatography purification, the product is formulated in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide. It should be stored at 2-8 °C without freezing, and is intended for use at concentrations comparable to those of the specific antibody of interest.
