Rt IgG2a,k Ctrl, RTK2758, BT, 200µg

A rat IgG2a, kappa isotype control antibody, Clone RTK2758, from STEMCELL Technologies, intended for use as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. According to the manufacturer, the isotype control should share the same heavy chain subclass and light chain as the specific antibody in use, and when a conjugated antibody is employed, the matching isotype control should be conjugated to the same molecule.

The clone has been verified for assessing non-specific binding to cells in applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy, including surface and intracellular staining. The antibody is offered in a range of conjugation formats, including Alexa Fluor 488, APC, Biotin, FITC, PE, and unconjugated.
