An azide-free rat IgG1, kappa isotype control antibody (clone RTK2071) from STEMCELL Technologies, supplied as 25 µg of purified immunoglobulin in a single vial for use as a negative control in antibody-based experiments. The reagent matches the species, isotype, and kappa light chain of many rat monoclonal primary antibodies, supporting accurate gating and background subtraction in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining.

Because the buffer contains no sodium azide (AZ), the reagent is appropriate for in vivo administration, live cell staining, and direct conjugation to fluorophores, biotin, or enzymes without prior dialysis.
