Rotor-Disc Heat Sealing Film (60)

Heat sealing consumable for automated molecular workflows, supplied by QIAGEN in packs of 60 single-use laminate sheets. The film bonds to polypropylene rotor discs on QIAsymphony SP/AS and Rotor-Gene platforms, forming an airtight seal that prevents evaporation and cross-contamination during sample prep, PCR setup, and other thermal cycling protocols. The adhesive layer activates cleanly under heat and releases without leaving residue on the disc rim, preserving downstream eluate recovery and pipetting accuracy. Films are compatible with rotor-disc holders for high-throughput processing in clinical research and molecular diagnostics laboratories. Each sheet is supplied in a resealable foil pouch; store at room temperature, protected from humidity and direct light, to maintain adhesive performance across the product's shelf life. Recommended sealing temperature is approximately 170 °C with a short dwell time.
