RosetteSep Human Mesen Enrichment, 10 mL

Developed by STEMCELL Technologies, this enrichment kit isolates mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from fresh human bone marrow by negative selection. The approach is fast and easy to use, requires no special equipment or training, and delivers untouched, viable cells that have not been labeled with antibody.

The cocktail contains monoclonal antibodies in PBS, presented as bispecific Tetrameric Antibody Complexes (TACs) directed against cell surface antigens on non-MSCs. These antibodies crosslink unwanted cells to multiple red blood cells (RBCs), forming immunorosettes that increase the density of the unwanted (rosetted) cells. During centrifugation over a density gradient medium, the rosetted cells pellet along with the free RBCs, while the desired MSCs are easily collected as a highly enriched population at the interface between the plasma and the density gradient medium.

Isolated MSCs are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The cocktail should be stored at 2 – 8 °C and must not be frozen; it is stable until the expiry date indicated on the label.
