RosetteSep HLA B Enrich Cocktail, 40mL

From STEMCELL Technologies, the RosetteSep™ HLA B Cell Enrichment Cocktail isolates B cells from human whole blood by negative selection, leaving the desired cells untouched for flow cytometry crossmatch assays or serology. The antibody cocktail crosslinks unwanted cells in whole blood to multiple red blood cells (RBCs), forming immunorosettes that pellet together with the free RBCs during centrifugation over a density gradient medium such as RosetteSep™ DM-L, Lymphoprep™, or Ficoll™-Paque™ PLUS. The enriched B cells are collected at the plasma–density gradient interface.

The cocktail contains a combination of mouse and rat monoclonal antibodies formulated as bispecific Tetrameric Antibody Complexes (TACs) directed against cell surface antigens on unwanted cells (CD2, CD3, CD16, CD36, CD56, CD66b, CD71) and against glycophorin A on RBCs. The mouse monoclonal antibody subclass is IgG1. The product is intended for the in vitro enrichment of specific cell subsets from human cell sources, including whole blood, and is for in vitro diagnostic use. Each lot is sterility tested according to USP methods and performance tested in cell separation assays using human whole blood.

Typical purity of B cells (CD19+) is greater than 65%, with the CD19+ cell content of the enriched fraction typically ranging from 59.3% to 97.2%. The cocktail is stored at 2°C to 8°C (do not freeze) and remains stable until the expiry date on the label; it may be shipped at 15°C to 25°C but should be refrigerated upon receipt.
