RosetteSep Debulking for Freezing, 10mL

This density gradient cell separation reagent from STEMCELL Technologies enriches target cells from whole blood, buffy coat, or leukapheresis samples. The cocktail uses a tetrameric antibody complex that crosslinks unwanted cell populations to red blood cells, forming rosettes that sediment with the erythrocyte pellet during centrifugation, while target cells remain at the density gradient interface. The Debulking for Freezing formulation is intended for samples that will undergo cryopreservation and removes the bulk of undesired cells without the higher purity that the standard RosetteSep kits provide. Each 10 mL vial is added at 50 µL per mL of whole blood and processed after a room temperature incubation of approximately 20 minutes, typically over Lymphoprep or Ficoll-Paque. Collected interface cells are washed, counted, and either processed immediately or cryopreserved using a controlled-rate freezer. The 10 mL format supports roughly 200 mL of input whole blood, making it useful for banking large-volume research samples for later analysis, and the product is supplied in a single-use vial configuration intended for research use only.
