RosetteSep Cord Blood Enrichment, 2 mL

An immunodensity negative selection cocktail from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to enrich progenitor cells from human cord blood. The kit forms part of a column-free cell isolation workflow, and isolated cells can be used immediately for downstream functional and biological studies. It combines the RosetteSep™ Human Cord Blood Progenitor Cell Enrichment Cocktail with HetaSep™, and the manufacturer notes that Ficoll-Paque™ Plus is no longer included with the product. The RosetteSep™ platform is offered alongside the EasySep™, RoboSep™, and SepMate™ families from STEMCELL Technologies for isolating hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells with high purity and recovery.

According to the manufacturer, when starting with fresh cord blood, the enrichment of CD34+ cells is typically 29 ± 9%. The density separation medium RosetteSep™ DM-L is not recommended for use with this cocktail, as its density is not optimized for the isolation of these cell types.
