RNeasy Mini Kit (250)

QIAGEN offers a silica-membrane spin column kit for the fast purification of high-quality total RNA from animal cells, tissues, and yeast. Each column has a binding capacity of 100 μg RNA, and the workflow completes extraction in approximately 20 minutes without the need for phenol/chloroform extraction, CsCl gradients, LiCl precipitation, or ethanol precipitation, delivering ready-to-use RNA suitable for any downstream application with excellent recovery.

Tissue samples can be stabilized beforehand using RNAlater RNA Stabilization Reagent or Allprotect Tissue Reagent and disrupted efficiently with a TissueRuptor or TissueLyser system. The entire RNA purification process can be fully automated on the QIAcube. For different sample scales, related RNeasy kits are also available, including the RNeasy Micro Kit (up to 45 μg), the RNeasy Midi Kit (1 mg), and the RNeasy Maxi Kit (6 mg).
