REPLI-g UltraFast Mini Kit (100)

This QIAGEN kit enables fast whole genome amplification from small samples using Multiple Displacement Amplification (MDA) technology. It is designed for amplification from purified genomic DNA, whole blood, and tissue culture cells, supporting genotyping and DNA sequence analysis when only limited material is available.

The method delivers highly uniform amplification across the entire genome with negligible sequence bias. It relies on isothermal amplification using a uniquely processive DNA polymerase with 3'→5' exonuclease proofreading activity, in combination with exonuclease-resistant primers. The reaction proceeds for 1.5 hours at 30°C, followed by inactivation of the DNA polymerase by heating at 65°C for 3 minutes.

Typical yield per 20 μl reaction is approximately 7–10 μg, with an average product length greater than 10 kb (range 2 kb to 100 kb). The kit includes REPLI-g UltraFast DNA Polymerase, REPLI-g UltraFast Reaction Buffer, Buffer DLB, Stop Solution, PBS 1x, and DTT 1 M. It is shipped on dry ice and should be stored at –20°C, or –70°C for longer-term storage. Under recommended handling the product can be kept at least 6 months after shipping without reduction in performance. The kit is intended for molecular biology applications only and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease.
