Reagent Holder, micortubes and troughs

QIAGEN automated workstations such as the QIAcube rely on a stable rack for reagent troughs and microtubes during nucleic acid purification runs. This accessory slots onto the instrument deck and seats disposable troughs alongside 1.5 mL or 2 mL microcentrifuge tubes, keeping buffer reservoirs and eluate collection vessels aligned with the robotic pipetting head. The molded positions allow reagents to be loaded in advance while the cover remains closed during processing, supporting in vitro workflows including DNA extraction from blood, tissue lysates, and cultured cells, as well as RNA isolation and cleanup steps. The reusable rack wipes clean between runs and pairs with QIAGEN reagent cartridges, filter tips, and disposable troughs to keep a complete purification run self-contained on the deck. Intended for research use only, the holder is part of the QIAGEN primary sample technology portfolio and serves as a direct replacement component when the original accessory wears out or needs to be dedicated to a specific assay.
