QX Cartridge Stand (with Cover)

QIAGEN offers this accessory stand for use with QIAxcel gel cartridges, supporting upright storage as recommended in the QIAxcel RNA High-Sensitivity Kit Handbook for optimal cartridge performance. The stand is supplied with a protective cover that shields the cartridge from light during storage.

When a cartridge is not in daily use, placing it in the stand with the cover fitted allows the reservoir to be filled with wash buffer and covered with mineral oil to keep the cartridge conditioned. For laboratories running more than one cartridge, the second cartridge can be stored in the stand in the dark or with the cover in place. Before each run, the gel cartridge should be placed in the stand and allowed to equilibrate at room temperature for at least 20 minutes.
