TissueLyser Adapter Set (2 x 24)

QIAGEN adapter set designed for efficient disruption of 2 mL microcentrifuge tubes on the TissueLyser III and II. The set comprises two sets of adapter plates and two racks, including a pair of 24-tube reaction-tube holders, with each holder accommodating up to 24 microcentrifuge tubes (2 mL). The use of Safe-Lock tubes is strongly recommended, such as Eppendorf Safe-Lock micro test tubes.

The adapter sets can be used for sample disruption in a cold room (2–8°C, noncondensing conditions) or at room temperature using QIAGEN lysis buffers. They can be cleaned with detergent, microbicides, or up to 96% ethanol, but should not be autoclaved or heat-sterilized. After frequent use, the sealing strips in the top plate may become worn; replacement strips are provided.

The sets are shipped at room temperature (15–25°C) and should be stored dry at room temperature (15–25°C). They are intended for molecular biology applications and laboratory use, with each lot tested against predetermined specifications under QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System.
