Description
This QIAGEN kit is designed for one-step probe-based virus detection by real-time reverse transcription PCR. It is configured for sequence-specific probes and supports both single and multiplex reaction setups, with RNA and/or DNA targets as input.
Supplied components include QuantiTect Virus NR Master Mix (without ROX dye), a separate ROX Dye Solution, QuantiTect Virus RT Mix, RNase-Free Water, and QuantiTect Nucleic Acid Dilution Buffer. ROX is therefore available within the master mix formulation and as an additional vial for instruments that require it.
The system is intended for use with most real-time thermal cyclers, excluding capillary instruments such as the LightCycler® 1.x and 2.0.
