QuantiNova SYBR Green RT-PCR Kit (100)

From QIAGEN, this one-step SYBR Green RT-qPCR kit is designed for highly sensitive, ultrafast quantitative real-time RT-PCR using SYBR Green I fluorescent dye. The 2x master mix combines QuantiNova DNA Polymerase — a modified recombinant hot-start enzyme originally isolated from Thermus aquaticus — with QuantiNova Antibody, QuantiNova Guard, an optimised buffer containing the Q-Bond additive, and a dNTP mix (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP). A separate RT Mix supplies HotStaRT-Script Reverse Transcriptase together with an RNase Inhibitor, enabling reverse transcription and PCR amplification to occur sequentially in a single tube.

The kit accommodates room-temperature reaction setup and includes several supporting components: QuantiNova Yellow Template Dilution Buffer for visual confirmation of template addition, QuantiNova Internal Control RNA for monitoring successful reverse transcription and reporting potential inhibitors, QuantiNova ROX Reference Dye for signal normalisation on Applied Biosystems instruments, and RNase-Free Water. Because SYBR Green I binds all double-stranded DNA, the system enables analysis of many targets without target-specific labelled probes and is compatible with any real-time cycler.

Intended for molecular biology applications, the kit is suited to gene expression analysis, viral RNA detection, and rapid assay workflows. Reagents are shipped on dry ice and should be stored at –15 to –30 °C in a constant-temperature freezer, protected from light; certain components may alternatively be stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.
