QIAseq xHYB Respiratory Panel 24

For next-generation sequencing workflows targeting respiratory pathogens, this hybridization-based target enrichment kit from QIAGEN captures 24 viral and bacterial sequences in a single reaction, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza A/B, RSV, parainfluenza viruses, adenovirus, and atypical bacteria such as Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydophila pneumoniae, and Legionella pneumophila.

xHYB capture technology enriches pathogen-specific sequences directly from total nucleic acid extracted from nasopharyngeal swabs, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), sputum, and other respiratory specimens. The panel is compatible with Illumina sequencing platforms and bundles library preparation reagents, indexed adapters, and a bioinformatics analysis pipeline for pathogen identification. Typical input is 10 to 100 ng of total RNA or DNA per sample.
