QIAseq UX 96 Index Kit IL UDI-H (96)

This QIAGEN index kit is designed for use with QIAseq FastSelect RNA Library Kits (sold separately) and is listed as a required supported index kit for stranded RNA-seq workflows. According to the manufacturer, the QIAseq UX Index Kits add unique dual indices during sample indexing and final library amplification in a single PCR step that follows cDNA synthesis. During reverse transcription, each transcript incorporates a unique sample ID, allowing samples to be tracked and helping to prevent mix-ups.

When combined with the broader family of QIAseq UX Index IL UDI Index Kits, up to 768 individual samples can be combined for a single sequencing flow cell lane. An alternative cDNA pooling protocol also allows more than 10,000 samples to be sequenced together in a single flow cell lane. The kit supports library construction from high-quality total RNA, fragmented FFPE RNA, or enriched mRNA, with the final libraries retaining strand and directionality of the original transcript for accurate quantification.
