QIAseq UPXome RNA Lib Kit Bacteria (24)

This RNA library kit from QIAGEN is intended for meta-transcriptomic studies of bacteria. It includes RNA library preparation reagents together with QIAseq FastSelect –rRNA Bacteria for removal of ribosomal RNA and QIAseq Beads.

The product is part of the manufacturer's Go Greener programme and is described as reducing plastic waste by >80% compared to standard QIAGEN workflows. Across the QIAseq UPXome RNA Library Kit family, the use of cDNA pooling during library preparation is reported to reduce the total plastic weight from pipette tips, plates and tubes by over 80% relative to the standard product.

The QIAseq UPXome RNA Library Kits support library construction for transcript identification, fusion gene discovery and high-throughput gene expression, with input RNA accepted as high-quality or fragmented and RNA-seq libraries reported as obtainable from tissues, exosomes, FFPE samples and cell lines.
