QIAseq Targeted DNA Pro UDI (12)

QIAGEN's QIAseq Targeted DNA Pro Panels deliver a streamlined next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflow for targeted DNA genotyping. The chemistry incorporates integrated unique molecular indices (UMIs) to enable ultrasensitive variant detection and correct for PCR and sequencing errors, supporting the detection of somatic mutations, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), copy number variation, and small insertions/deletions. In addition to catalog panels, fully customized designs are supported.

The workflow moves from extracted DNA to sequencing-ready libraries within 6 hours with minimal hands-on time, replacing labor-intensive bead cleanup steps with enzymatic processes after ligation and target enrichment. Required template input ranges from 10–80 ng for fresh DNA or 100–250 ng for formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) DNA, and a seamless FFPE DNA repair step is incorporated before library construction. The specially formulated chemistry is designed to achieve highly efficient enrichment even in GC-rich regions.

Kits are provided as single-tube primer mixes for a single sequencing reaction, optimized for use with QIAseq Targeted Pro Panel Unique Dual-Index primers for Illumina sequencing systems and Ion-compatible adapters for Ion platforms. Compatible sample types include cells, tissue, and biofluids. Catalog panels target the entire coding region of relevant oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, as well as actionable and interpretable cancer-related somatic and germline variants. Data analysis is performed using the QIAseq Targeted DNA Pro Analysis software pipeline or QIAGEN CLC Genomics Workbench, with detected variants able to be annotated with QIAGEN Clinical Insight Interpret for QIAseq.
