QIAseq targeted DNA panel (96)

A targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) solution from QIAGEN for the detection of low-frequency DNA variants. The QIAseq Targeted DNA Panel supports research on DNA extracted from tissue, blood, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples, and cell-free DNA (cfDNA), enabling versatile workflows across diverse sample types.

Integrated unique molecular indices (UMIs) and Single Primer Extension (SPE) technology enable reliable detection of single nucleotide variants (SNVs), small insertions/deletions, copy number variants (CNVs), select structural variants with characterized breakpoints, and loss of heterozygosity (LOH). In QIAGEN testing, the panels achieved >90% sensitivity for NA12878 SNPs and indels at 1% variant frequency, with <15 false positives per megabase under specified tiled-primer conditions, and >90% sensitivity for small variants down to 0.5%. Input requirements are 10–80 ng of DNA (up to 250 ng FFPE), and the workflow from extracted DNA to sequencing-ready libraries takes ~9 hours with ~3 hours of hands-on time.

Catalog and custom designs are available, covering exons, hotspots, SNPs, intronic regions and promoters. The panel is compatible with Illumina, Ion Torrent, and Element Biosciences sequencing platforms.
