QIAseq Stranded mRNA Lib Kit UDI-D (96)

From QIAGEN, this stranded mRNA library preparation kit supports poly(A)+ mRNA enrichment from total RNA and stranded RNA-seq library construction for next-generation sequencing on Illumina instruments. The kit provides integrated reagents for mRNA enrichment, fragmentation, reverse transcription, second-strand synthesis combined with end-repair and A-addition, strand-specific adapter ligation, CleanStart PCR enrichment, and library cleanups.

The kit is supplied with magnetized QIAseq Beads for reaction cleanups between protocol steps and a plate of Y-shaped unique dual-index (UDI) adapters with distinct barcodes under a pierceable foil seal, supporting sample multiplexing. Kits with different UDI adapter sets can be combined to multiplex more libraries in a single flow cell line. The kit is intended for molecular biology applications only and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.

Storage conditions from the handbook: mRNA enrichment buffers (Buffer mRBB and Pure mRNA Beads) and QIAseq Beads at 2–8°C; wash and elution buffers (Buffer OW2, RNase-Free Water, Buffer OEB) at room temperature (15–25°C); and enzyme kits and UDI Y-Adapter plates at −30 to −15°C. The Pure mRNA Beads contain 0.1% sodium azide (NaN3) as a preservative.
